Two vs. Two
This type is the most common type of league. While teams may have two or more members, this league REQUIRES that only two members of each team play only two members of an opposing team.

 
Four vs. Four
While teams may have four or more members, this league REQUIRES that only four members of each team play only four members of an opposing team. Typically, Player A of Team 1 plays Player A of Team 2, Player B of Team 1 plays Player B of Team 2, Player C of Team 1 plays Player C of Team 2, and Player D of Team 1 plays Player D of Team 2.

 
Individual vs. Individual
This type of league has the golfer as the only member of his "team." He plays without any other teammates and plays against other individuals. None of his points are dependent on other golfers.

 
n vs. n (Max of 12 per team)
This type of league can have between three and 12 members as the required minimum per team. Teams may have more members than the required minimum, but this league REQUIRES that the required minimum play each event for each team. Typically, Player A of Team 1 plays Player A of Team 2, Player B of Team 1 plays Player B of Team 2, Player C of Team 1 plays Player C of Team 2, Player D of Team 1 plays Player D of Team 2, Player E of Team 1 plays Player E of Team 2, Player F of Team 1 plays Player F of Team 2, Player G of Team 1 plays Player G of Team 2, Player H of Team 1 plays Player H of Team 2, Player I of Team 1 plays Player I of Team 2, Player J of Team 1 plays Player J of Team 2, Player K of Team 1 plays Player K of Team 2, and Player L of Team 1 plays Player L of Team 2.
